Even when the Ohio State recruiting outlook appears to be predictable, Urban Meyer always seems to have a trick up his sleeve. On Friday, the Buckeyes added another five-star commitment to the fold in Bellflower (Cali.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman Wyatt Davis.

Davis had only been considered a legitimate Ohio State target in recent weeks and was considered a long shot heading into a recent unofficial visit. After making a Midwest tour to Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, Davis' visit to Columbus made the difference in choosing the Buckeyes over the Wolverines, Fighting Irish, and Alabama.

Davis is commitment No. 14 in the 2017 class for Ohio State and the third five-star prospect to join the fold. He is rated the nation's top offensive guard in the 2017 class by Rivals.com.
